Spotlight on creativity – in all guises, shapes, and sizes
Here at AwardStage, we host awards from a vast range of sectors. You name it, we’ve probably got something in our portfolio that’s a match! As such, we thought it might be nice to look back over the archive, and highlight some of those industries, starting with ‘creative’.
We realise that that’s a word that can mean many things (we’d argue that pretty much anything can be construed as creative) but, for the purposes of this blog, we’re going to look at the ‘typical’ sense of the word.
Whether it’s celebrating excellence in creative design and writing, PR, music, advertising, or social media (and much more besides), we’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the biggest hitters in the industry, across the world. We’ve picked out a selection below.
CREATIVE CIRCLE
We’ve been hosting the Creative Circle Awards for seven years, and there’s been no let up in the prominence that winning one of their coveted gongs brings. From TV to press, from digital to print – these awards recognise and celebrate the best creative across the board.
AiMCO AWARDS
We started working with the Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO) this year, for the launch of their inaugural awards. The brand sits under the umbrella of the Audited Media Association of Australia (AMAA), which has a history of supporting the media industry by facilitating industry consultation, developing self-regulatory frameworks, industry standards and compliance processes across buy and sell sides over the last 80 years.
PRODUCTION MUSIC AWARDS
With categories including Best Use of Production Music in a Sports Promo, and Best Hip Hop Production Music Track, this is one of our favourites to take a peek at when the entries roll in!
EAST COAST MUSIC AWARDS
The East Coast Music Association is a non-profit association that hosts an annual awards ceremony based in Atlantic Canada for music appreciation on the East Coast of Canada. Since its beginning in 1989, it has grown from the original five categories (Album of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Video of the Year) to over 40 categories for artist, industry and honorary awards – and we are honoured to power them!
ROYALTY SOAPIE AWARDS
In their own words, the Royalty Soapie Awards “recognise all major contributors to the South African daily TV drama entertainment industry – actors, make-up artists, costume designers, producers, and everyone inbetween!”.
THE INDIE AWARDS
The Indie Awards are an initiative of thenetworkone, a community of 1200 independent agencies across 115 countries, providing advertising, PR, media, digital, events, branding and design solutions (amongst others!). These are the only large scale international awards exclusively for independent agencies and judged by independent agencies, providing them with a chance to benchmark their work against the best in the independent sector.
